Risers

Risers are a typical feature within Building Services projects to transport utilities, such as airflow, power and water, between a plant room, roof plant and to supply each floor of a residential or commercial building. Common problems experienced by planners and contractors are:

• Insufficient space for all services including; ducting, electrical cables, water pipes and communications

• Clashing of services

• Corrosion of supports

• Poor steel structures unable to support heavy loads

• Deflecting pipes for hot and cold pipework

With Sikla’s modular steel system, siFramo, having a riser to suit your building design possibilities are endless.

Building supports could not be any simpler! Riser supports can be pre-cut and/or assembled offsite by either Sikla or others. Materials or built modules can be delivered to install in sections.

Our one screw technology allows for quick assembly, with only one type of screw required for all connections. The combination of siFramo and the self-forming FLS screw reduces safety risks and costs for labour as no hot works are required to assemble.

Standard Sikla products are available off the shelf across Europe, North America, Oceania and Middle East. These products are hot dip galvanised to a C4 corrosion category, outlined in EN ISO 12944-2, therefore increasing the lifespan of structural steel supports.
