BIM processes have transformed the way projects are planned, constructed and operated to make each stage more streamlined and transparent. By improving design accuracy and strengthening collaboration among all project stakeholders, BIM drives efficiency, reduces costs and delivers more sustainable project outcomes.

Cost estimation: Accurate model-based cost estimation for reliable budgets, less assumptions and better cost control.
Stock management: BIM driven data that reduces delays and ensures components are available when needed.
Pre-construction project visualisation: Clear and detailed project models that identify risks early and allow issues to be resolved before work starts on site.
Clash detection: Early identification of clashes between systems to reduce errors, rework and on site disruption.
Design software: Precise 3D models, coordinated layouts and detailed specifications for every support to enable smooth cross-discipline coordination and accurate installation.
By integrating BIM early in the planning phase, we help customers manage the critical transition from design to construction more effectively.
This leads to smoother project execution and a reduced risk of costly delays, particularly on large or complex projects. Early BIM involvement also minimises last-minute onsite changes by resolving issues before construction begins.
Engaging with our BIM services enable:
Accurate documentation
Automatically generated and manufacturer‑approved data ensures consistent product information across drawings, schedules and reports to reduce errors and improving clarity throughout the project.
Improved material estimation
Quantities are taken directly from the model to deliver more accurate material take‑offs. This supports reliable budgeting, better procurement planning and reduce waste.
Confidence in the BIM model
Using Sikla’s BIM‑ready components ensure every element is accurate, coordinated and installation‑ready. This increases trust in the digital model and significantly reduces rework on site.
We support our customers at every stage of the project:
Using an integral planning approach and BIM methodology, Sikla integrates modular framing solutions across all trades to ensure coordinated planning. This allows supports to be planned as part of the overall design, reducing installation errors on site and delivering measurable cost savings.
Integrating modular framing solutions at the basic design stage offers the following advantages of:
Optimised use of space
Cost-efficient planning
Continuous cost control
No additional products required during installation
Accurate documentation

In recent years Sikla has supplied Building Information Modelling (BIM) services to a number of international projects with our software design tools. From the perspective of assessing technical and financial viability, Mechanical & Engineering (M+E) support concepts must be integrated into BIM projects at an early stage. Both material and execution costs can be reduced and a suitable logistical concept can be developed at the right time.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is consensually known these days as essential software design tools for the daily work of engineering experts in the construction industry, improving the collaboration between all the involved teams (designers, contractors, …).
