Application

Connector for reliable connections of waste water pipes. Particularly suitable for pumping stations, high-pressure drainage systems and all other pipe sections located in tail back areas.

May be used in connection with copper pipes and/or
form pieces according to DIN EN 877/DIN 19522.

• Functional, ready-to-mount single piece connector with two or more seal bolts and integrated claws. Additional claws are no longer required.
• From Typ KR 100 A on, equipped with additional stopper elements, ensuring suitability for higher longitudinal forces (see table below for details) even for larger diameters up to nominal pressure of 5 bar up to DN 150 and up to 3 bar for DN 200.

Attention: In areas at risk from water hammers, e.g. behind pumps, connectors with stopper elements (Types Shark .....A) must be used for safety reasons.

Configuration

Pre-assembled with gasket and locking screw M8.

Installation

Slip the ready-to-mount Pipe Connector over the pipe end up to the middle ring of the sealing sleeve. In order to slide on the pipe more easily, a sliding agent has to be applied to the sealing lips (soaps or dish liquid solutions, however, no oil or grease). Tighten the clamping bolts with a suitable tool (allen key 6mm) alternately in steps up to the torque as engraved in the Connector.
When using Pipe Connectors consisting of several parts (KR 150 A and KR 200 A), make sure that during installation the distance (a) between the segments is approximately the same.
Re-check the tightening torque of the clamping bolts after installation.
